A Mel Books inspired production featuring a young Edgar Allen Poe. The play takes place  in upstate Maine,1836,  at the home of Roderick Usher, who talks a lot to his pet ravens that don’t look very alive. Add a wacky butler, an affection starved wife, a recurring eye problem, and… well you get the picture. Tear Up The Planks takes a fun look at where Poe might have gotten some of those crazy ideas of his. The KAPS Dragon Arts Players deliver an inspired and funny tale in the vein of Dracula that will keep you laughing all the way to the last pendulum swing.
