I live in the Canyon Lake area - been a resident for the last 12 years. I originally came to KAPS as a bus driver, but my passion has always been cooking. I have 20+ years experience in the kitchen - I have cooked for 1,200 BSA campers in a given week.
I enjoy cooking and seeing our young people smile while enjoying the nutritious food I serve. :-)
Office Manager & Human Resources
I was influenced fairly early in life by a quote on my coffee cup - - "A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."
I have been blessed to be able to raise two wonderful children and to continue to work around students in the KAPS business office.

Hi, my name is Abby Linam. I have lived here in Wimberley my whole 25 year life. I have a golden retriever and a Chartreux cat(gray domestic cat). I really enjoy being active whether it be on an organized sports team or just running or lifting weights in my free time.
I attended college at Austin Community College and graduated in the 2017 Winter ceremony with my Therapeutic Recreation Assistant degree. Since that time, I have worked at human service organizations such as at the Marbridge Foundation Summer Camp as a counselor, at Angels for Elders here in Wimberley, volunteered at a few Special Olympics competitions, worked at the AWARE riding arena, and volunteered at the SOAR riding arena; ultimately, I discovered my passion to work with SPED kids (largely discovered at the SOAR riding arena) and am blessed to have that very opportunity here at KAPS."

When I began my career as a high school teacher in 2004, I knew I had answered a lifelong calling and that teaching and working with students is my true vocation.
It has been a beautiful and winding path to KAPS and I am thrilled that I have arrived and am part of such a special community.
As a school counselor at KAPS, I hope to help students hear, listen to, find, develop, expand, and harness their inner dragon, which is their truest voice and deepest calling.
Once a dragon, always a dragon!
