Lesson of the Month-Mrs. Gray's Photography Class Pinhole Project
Mrs. Gray decided to start her photography class off by taking the students back in time, before everything was instant and digital.
Their assignment : Create and use pinhole cameras.
This included picking a container that can be opened and closed without allowing light in when sealed…
Loads of cutting and measuring…
and creating a darkroom to develop their photos.
Students then loaded their cameras with the proper film and started testing their results based on: how large their pinholes were, how long they exposed their film and the placement of their cameras…
Then it was time to mix the developing chemicals to see the fruit of their efforts.
We loved the final results!
