Rock Climbing with Outpost Wilderness Adventure!

First of all, we have to thank Texas Parks & Wildlife for making this trip possible!

KAPS received the CO OP grant, allowing our students to have some great hands-on experiences in canoeing, camping and rock climbing!

Students were given brief safety course, fitted their helmets, harnesses and footwear…

Students and teachers were accompanied by Outpost Wilderness Adventure at Reimers Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas for some true outdoor education.

Then it was time to hit the trail!

After a short 10 minute hike, we reached our destination.

OWA offered great instruction for climbing and belaying before students were able to begin.
