The Katherine Anne Porter School is a free, accredited public charter school in the Texas Hill Country with a focus on learning, nurturing individual interests, and enhancing community responsibilities. Founded in 1998 by the former board members of the Katherine Anne Porter Museum, the Katherine Anne Porter School is a charter school located in Wimberley, Texas. The school was founded to provide an open and free environment not only for the students, but for the staff as well. KAPS seeks to provide the best education possible with a focus on smaller classes and more individual attention for every student.The Katherine Anne Porter School has been serving the needs of the surrounding community for the past 7 years.
